Combimes – the universal solution

The universal edging and resaw system EWD Combimes processes product widths of up to 700 mm and thicknesses of up to 225 mm. Thanks to its combination options with various edging and resaw circular saws as well as profiling chippers and profiling units, the system can be used for a wide range of production tasks.

Optimes – the maximum performer

In the performance range of 30 to 42 boards per minute, the EWD Optimes delivers maximum value and yield. Its modular design allows the system to be optimally adapted to specific produc-tion requirements. Options include different board handling automation and various edging circular saw units.
The measuring technology comprises cameras and laser units and can be expanded with X-ray scanners and additional sensors for automated quality detection.

Optidrive – the fastest

The fastest member of the lineup is the high-performance edger EWD Optidrive. To achieve feed speeds of up to 420 m/min, driven positioning heads and driven pressure rollers are used, among other components. From singulation and manipulation to measuring, sawing, and downstream conveying, all processes are perfectly coordinated, enabling peak throughput of up to 60 boards per minute.
