Where theory meets practice
Combine your academic studies with valuable practical experience and lay the foundation for your professional future. At EWD, you can choose between two study models that perfectly link theory and practice—depending on your personal goals.
1. Practice-oriented study program
In this model, you combine your Bachelor’s degree with intensive practical phases at our company. From day one, you are actively involved in daily operations, work on real projects, and gradually take on responsibility. This allows you to directly apply and deepen your theoretical knowledge. Our experienced colleagues will support and guide you throughout—both professionally and as part of the team.
2. Integrated study program (degree + vocational training)
In this model, you combine your Bachelor’s degree with a recognized vocational qualification. This means you earn two qualifications and benefit from a particularly comprehensive education. Alongside your studies, you will systematically learn all relevant practical skills within the company and develop a deep understanding of technical processes and business operations.
Your Bachelor of Engineering program starts every year in September.
Phase 1
During the first 13 months, you will work in our technical office alongside our engi-neers. You will learn how to create production and assembly drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software.
Phase 2
During your practical training, we will prepare you for your first certification exam before your university studies begin at an institution of your choice. During semester breaks, you will complete additional practical phases at EWD.
Phase 3
After passing your second final exam, your practical training is officially completed. Your studies conclude after seven semesters with your Bachelor’s thesis.
Total duration: 4.5 years
