For the profiling of side boards in high production lines with feed speeds up to 200 m/min the profiling unit FR15S is used

The pulp and paper industry requires for their optimized production process a high, homogenous chip quality. The use of pre-cutting notching saws minimizes the production of thin-ended Komma chips. The chips produced by the FR15S achieve the

maximum possible quality, possible with this production method.
For the maximum side board recovery, board by board, the FR15S is also available with diagonal profiling. The profiling tools are adjusted in height and pivoted individually for each board as demanded by the 3D scanner data and the optimization solution. The precise motion control of the profiling tools enables to produce maximum recovery within the given wane allowances.
