The term „profiling“ means the edging of the side boards with chipping heads, before the boards are sawn off from an already opened log or cant. The chips produced by the profiling heads have a length of approx. 25 mm.

Profiling heads fully adjustable both in horizontal and vertical axles chip or profile the side boards from width of 65 mm and wider and board thicknesses up to maximum 50 mm. The drive power for the profiling heads is up to 132 kW per side board.
