The Esterer AG sells the Esterer WD GmbH (EWD) to Gebr. Linck Maschinenfabrik Gatterlinck GmbH & Co KG. Being now at the side of Linck Holzverarbeitungstechnik GmbH is the optimum place for EWD for the new challenges of the world sawing technology market.
The Gebr. Linck Maschinenfabrik Gatterlinck GmbH & Co KG owns 100% of the Linck Holzverarbeitungstechnik GmbH, Oberkirch and of the Esterer WD GmbH, Altötting. |
| 2006 | The ArcoLine Technology, the newest active curve sawing system of EWD, is successfully installed at Bergkvist Insjön, Sweden and CMPC, Chile. |

50% of the company shares of EWD is taken over by Esterer AG. EWD is now owned 100 % by Esterer AG. The export sales quota for more and more powerful sawlines exceeds 80%. |

The restructuring of Esterer WD GmbH & Co is finished. The operations in Tuebingen are moved to the company headquarters Rottenburg. The export sales amount exceeds the planned value of 70% of turnover. The sales increase in new markets is now larger than the decrease because of structural changes in the traditional Central European markets. |
