World novelty - EBB1600 V/17°

Log bandsaw EBB1600 V/17°
Precision, high recovery, maximum flexibility, a perfect view onto the sawn lumber face and the gentle sliding down of the sawn boards and flitches recommend the use of the 17° slanted log bandsaw in softwood and hardwood sawmills. The world novelty of this log bandmill is the pivoting of the headrig from sawing into a tool change position. The bandsaw is with hydraulic cylinders lowered into a vertical position. Therefor only two workers can change the sawblade, while other slanted headrigs require a 3rd person helping because of the sagging band. Another novelty is the bandsaw guide system. The guide can swivel in a defined range by remote-control to improve the true running of the band.

Bandsaw carriage EW1000
The new bandsaw carriage has now only two dogs for the same clamping range. They have a new geometry and are now even more robust. To adapt to different requirements, the dogs and the mounting plates can be changed. The new carriage is designed very maintenance-friendly and provides good accessibility. Due to the unchanged track width, the carriage can be used with any existing EWD bandsaw and refitted.
